Edward Zedd has been an auctioneer for more than 40 years. He attended Old Dominion University, and the Mendahall School of Auctioneering. Nancy Zedd holds a BA from Old Dominion University and has a background in advertising, marketing and public relations. As a team, we provide a solid base of professionalism in the auction industry. Our proven excellence in the industry is reflected in our ability to provide heavily attended sales and better than anticipated revenues for our client.

Downtown Auction Company # 712, is licensed through the Commonwealth of Virginia 's Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations ( DPOR ) The firm is also fully bonded through DPOR for $ 10,000. Edward Zedd, Auctioneer # 98, is licensed through DPOR and also bonded for $ 10,000. Additionally,
our firm holds a bankruptcy court bond for $ 100,000. It is also important to note that, neither Edward Zedd or our firm have received a complaint or disciplinary action filed through the industry's regulation entity, Virginia Auctioneers Board in over 40 years of operation. We take pride in our reputation, and as such, will provide letters of recommendation, if requested by a client.
